It’s getting closer and closer to our first event of 2025 and we hope your training is going well!

Keep getting those hills sessions in, practice your fuelling and get ready for a great day out.

Unfortunately as race director, 2025 is going to look a little different for me. I’m going to be spending a significant amount of time in hospital for treatment of a medical condition. While I’m hopeful I’ll still be able to attend some events if I’m well enough, I need to ensure that everything runs smoothly with or without me.

The good news is that we’re partnering with Active Training World (ATW) to manage our events over the next year. ATW shares the same passion for delivering incredible experiences and supporting every athlete, from first-timers to seasoned pros. I couldn’t think of a better team to help carry the Fullsteam spirit forward during this time.

You’ll still see most of the usual crew at Pippingford 2025, and the ATW team are totally up to speed to support with managing the event to ensure everything goes off perfectly.

I’ll still be involved as much as I can, and nothing would mean more to me than being able to cheer you on in person when possible. In the meantime, this partnership means you’ll continue to get the high-quality, friendly, and welcoming events you’ve come to expect from us.

As a participant you don’t need to do anything we’re handling all the change overs in the background. Thank you for sticking by me and the Fortitude family. Your support means everything, and I hope to see you out there on race day if I can.
