Fortitude Ultra at Denbies Wine Estate is a spectacular showcase of the English countryside, taking runners through breathtaking vineyard landscapes that are as challenging as they are beautiful. Nestled in the heart of Dorking, this venue isn’t your average course—it’s a vineyard with winding paths, elevation changes, and views that stretch into the horizon.

Described as “stunning but seriously tough,” with the rolling terrain offering a totally different course profile to our event at Pippingford Park.

The vineyard setting also means the course shifts with the landscape. From grassy hillsides to paths flanked by rows of grapevines, the Denbies course makes you feel fully immersed in nature. Each lap is like its own scenic journey, every section offers something new to discover. The views from the high points are a highlight, giving runners panoramic views over the surrounding Surrey Hills.

Moving back to September means this event is now spaced further out in the calendar from Pippingford, avoids the hotter months and doesn’t leave so long between Fortitude events.
