DAYLIGHT HOURS

Please note that during the last lap you will be approaching sunset (18:30), whilst twilight extends in theory around 30 minutes to and hour after the event depending on weather and whilst on course under trees etc it may get dark rapidly. We therefore recommend bringing a head torch to aid the final hours running and for clearing down your stuff on site following the event.

EVENT MAP

THE EVENT VILLAGE

Within the event village there are two key areas the race HQ & Feed Station and the Athlete Area.

Within the Athlete Area there is space for every participant to set themselves up a spot, set up a little tent, a chair or whatever they wish to help them get through the 10 hours. You can also use your car as a base as parking is close to the start/finish.

Unfortunately it is not possible for us to provide cover for everyone but we do offer a dry bag drop at the event HQ if required.

RULES OF THE EVENT

At 08:30 we will countdown and everyone will start their first lap together. You will process around the course following the marked route. Various split points are indicated by signs and marshalls for the blue, red, black courses. On completion of your course you will return to the start where you can access snacks/drinks etc and chill ready for the next lap.

You will be awarded an event medal and finishers shirt based on your ability to complete 10 laps of our roughly 3mile, 4mile or 5mile loops in the given time.

You can change down distance at any time based on how the day is going but you must complete all 10 laps and return to the race village within each hour. Failure to complete a lap and return to the start within the hour will mean you can’t progress onto the next hour.

You’re laps will be tracked electronically with unique checkpoints on the 3, 4 and 5 mile courses.

If you decide to withdraw at any point let our team at the lap finish know and hand in your timing chip.

THE FEED STATION

We offer a well stocked (and well reviewed) feed station with a selection of  snacks and goodies to keep you going.

The Feed Station will have at a minimum;

  • Access to Hot & Cold Water
  • Self Serve Tea’s & Coffees
  • A Selection of Pre Packaged Sweet and Savoury Snacks
  • Fresh Fruit

TIMING / RESULTS

Our event timers Emit will be using a wireless tracking system on the day, please wear your timing chip on your left wrist. As you move around the course and as you pass key timing points you will see this band flash.

Results will be available live on the day on: https://race-results.info

MEDICAL

Our medical team will be on standby throughout the event looking for anybody in trouble. In the event of any medical problems please contact the event team. If you get into trouble on the day please let the nearest marshal know who will be able to contact the medical team.
